Miss Kika (aka Liz Lorini) cites Jem, Sailor Moon and a Barbie fashion art kit as early childhood influences that kick started off her obsession with art. But it was fellow Infectious artist Yumiko Kayukawa that inspired her to do what she enjoyed as a profession. In 2003 she discovered a torn out page from Juxtapoz magazine on the floor of her college with photos from Yumi’s earliest gallery shows and realized that the beautifully girlie art that she was obsessed with could be shown in a gallery. Since then Liz’s beautiful ladies (also known as Miss Kika) have adorned Munnys, Sketchel bags and beyond. She’s currently working on her first art book with Brandstudio Press.
