ADOPT A REINDEER GIFT BOX

This gift enables you to adopt the UK’s only herd of free-roaming reindeer for 12 months. Inside the tin is a host of reindeer information, a stunning color poster and easy-to-follow instructions on how to adopt.

Your adoption will help care for the Cairngorm herd and continue the breeding programme. Once registered, you will also receive a personalised supporter certificate, a reindeer photograph and newsletters.

FAQs:

How long do I have to register my gift?
You need to register your gift before the ‘register by’ date on your gift registration booklet. We recommend that you register your gift as soon as possible.

How long does my adoption last?
Your adoption lasts for 12 months from the date of registration.

How long does it take for me to receive my certificate and photograph?
These will be dispatched within 28 days receipt of your registration details. Occasionally, factors outside of Gift Republic’s control may affect delivery times.

Can I visit the reindeer?
This gift enables you to adopt Cairngorm’s free-ranging herd of reindeer and visitors are welcome at certain times of the year. Charges do apply. Check the website for prices and further details: www.cairngormreindeer.co.uk
If you plan to visit, be sure to contact the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre in advance to check whether the reindeer are able to accept visitors – contact details are provided in the gift.
There are daily hill visits during the summer months which enable you to get up close to these charming animals. Hill visits are weather dependent during the winter. Half-day treks also take place during the summer, allowing you to walk the lower ranges of the Cairngorms alongside the reindeer. Note that treks must be booked in advance. A few reindeer are also cared for at the Reindeer Centre in Glenmore where Paddock visits take place from April through to December.
